Mike, I think the blower will be the easy part. What are you going to use for a manifold ?,,,dq

no no, DQ... In fact, I think it would be a good idea to put a couple blowers on there. They can fit at oposing angles over top of the valve covers... just bolt two intakess together sideways ;)

Go to the Home page on this forum and click on FAQ then scroll down to Lamar Walden, go to "409" on left side look through everthing he has and you will find a blower manifold for the 409 large port heads...

yeah, but $1200.00 seems kinda steep for a intake.

While we are on the subject of Lamar's engine parts, has anyone ran one of his water pumps? I was told by a friend that has a 61 Biscayne 409 car that the pumps did not fit right. For some reason I have a hard time believing this. So again has anyone used one? J & J

i had a 68 camaro with a blown 355 in it, so i know a little about blower motors, but that is a good suggestion to find another blown w-motor owner...thanks,mike

I got one of Lamars water pumps a couple of years ago and it fit just fine.I did have to change the gasket on the back plate but that was easy and have not had any more problems.

I told my friend that he should have talked to Lamar about any questions he had on the water pump rather than listen to someone else' opinion. He put a stock pump on and is happy. That is what counts. He has one beautiful 61 Biscayne. I wish I would have had my camera when I was in N. Calif visiting.
