got a Chuck Scharf cam

i bought a car that had a rebuild kit from chuck installed. it has the high performance cam swap. does anybody know what he sells or what this might be.
it goes back to 1991. any help would be appreciated.

I've bought several rebuild kits from Chuck over the years for my 348 motors. I was always very pleased with the stuff that I got from him but I have no idea what brand the cams were that came in the kit.
Unfortunately, Chuck passed away this past June. I called to order some parts with-in the past month and learned of his death. I was told that his business was no longer in existance. :cry
Since he was from New Ulm, Minn., I would say to check with Bruce @ Show Cars, they might could help you.

I didn't know that Chuck passed away. I didn't know him personally but I too bought alot of stuff for my 409 from him with no complaints. Looks like I have to remove him from our vendor section on the links page. :(

Odis, I don't know if this will help but here is a copy of the paper that came with my camshaft. This one came from Chuck. I have no idea on what brand it is as I had someone else rebuild it. All I asked for was a stock hi-po cam for the 400hp 409 and this is what he sent.

That looks like a Crane # or Wolivine which was a cheaper brand of crane,I will look to see if i can find my old Books.

You gave me an idea when you mentioned looking through old books Dale. I found a 1995 1/2 Chuck Scharf catalog but it doesn't say the brand of cam. It just says brand new 409 solid lifter camshaft. $140

My best guess without pulling out the huge stack of reciepts :D is that I bought my cam about 1993/94. I think it was $140 then too.

thanks for the replies. i do have the original bill of sale from Chuck. all it says is 348 rebuild kit . and an extra 50.00 for the high performance cam.
the kit did not come with notched pistons.
