Most of you won't remember this, but back in May I posted how I saw a 1962 Btop on a car hauler headed thru Buffalo. 12 hours after my 1st post one of you said that a similar car was sold on Ebay and posted the Ebay ad, yup it was the same car, sold out of Las Vegas. I took that info to a flea market I was at in Dunkirk, NY and as I told the story a guy who knew some of the guys I was with piped up with, "yeah, that was a guy I know, bought it off Ebay and had it shipped tp Rochester (NY)". Freaky. Now it gets freakier. I just sold my 409 parts collection to a couple of guys, one of whom was from Rochester. I related the story to them, and the one guy says" Yeah, I know the guy, lives in a suburb of Rochester and it's going to be his next restoration, he has all the parts to build a 409 clone, paid something like $8000 altogether buying it and getting it shipped". Freaky.
PS: while I sold off all my 409 parts I DID stumble across a 348 Sunday and I'm chasing it. Once a Wblockhead always a Wblockhead I guess.
