I have a 583 and a 690 head each of which had had a broken valve. I had the seat area repaired but part of the valve guide is chuncked off. It would seem to me that most of the guide is still there so I saw no need in doing anything to rebuild what is missing. I know these aren't perfect but what do you think of thier performance possibilities?
