I guess this must bring back memories for you BoB. Doesn't it remind you of the day when the site was a babe in your arms?

Actually, the sites seemed to do well right from the start! I remember my very first website was getting regular hits in the first week.

This site fills an empty spot on the net. While some other sites include our 58-65 Chevy's and the 348/409 engine, we are the only one to specialize in it. That allows us to focus on just what's important to us.

Things sure are slow but I'll bet when everyone gets back, there will be alot of BS'ing going on. :D

While it is so slow, let me tell you about the thing we did at the Lake George car show. First, it's Friday night and my wife and I are standing on the side of the main drag that runs right down the middle of the town. All the cars are parading up and down, smoking the tires like you have never seen. There were no cops anywhere. Here comes this red 59 Elcamino, He lights up the tires and BANG . Everyone thought the rear end was history. We walk over and low and behold, 409 under the hood. Well we can't let that sit there, can we? We grab the owner of the car , load him in my 66 Impala , drive the 10 miles back to my house, We load the spare open rear, jack and stands and all the tools need to change the rear end right there in the middle of Canada Street, We drive back, jack that puppy up and won't you know it, its the center u-joint broke and wrap the emergency brake cable so tight that the car will not roll. We got him off the street and the next day I gave him the parts to repair the shaft . He now knows about this site. Lets see if joints the gang. I just couldn't let him sit there so far from home.
P.S , You can delete this after you read it.

Jester, that was a cool story  .How far away from home was he?

He was from Pittsfield , Ma. That's only about 80 miles but I wouldn't want to push that car that far. Plus, it would have been a bummer , at least for me, not to have the car to show off all weekend.
He had mentioned that he had wished he knew about this site when he was restoring it.
