348/409 Convention Car Stats

Thought some might be interested in the car count at the recent convention.
By my count we had the following:
58's 1
59's 4
60's 1
61's 9
62's 31
63's 16
64's 8
others 3

Total of 73 cars including the seven Z-11 cars.
There were 7 348 cars and 66 409 cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been to car shows for over 25 years and never come close to seeing that many 409's.

There were 6 61 SS cars and 15 62 Bubbletop BA's.
Had 20 red cars 16 black cars 14 white cars 8 maroon cars 5 blue ones 2 green 2 Coronna Creams and one each of aqua, yellow, silver, fawn,brown, and purple.
WOW...what a sight!

There were 2 '58's. The white one with the mega-hp aluminum headed 409 and another with a ho-hum (by comparision) 348.

No 65's? Funny how the numbers always favor the 1962/63's. The numbers remind me of a poll we had for what's your favorite year.

That's right...no 65's and there were 2 58's. I remember the other one. Failed to get a picture and record of it.

That other nice looking 58, a Belair with 348 and tripower, belongs to Roy, (tripower)

Did you count the '60 Canadian Pontiac with tripower as "other"?

Yes, I counted the 60 Pontiac as an "other-348".

I had my Beige 63' there with a 409 in it......well that is the 409 mile marker sign in the back seat. Maybee I would qualify under the other catagory.

WADDICT Was there in his 65 but it has a smallblock. He's got alot of "W" stuff too so I wouldn't be surprized to see him bring a 348 or a 409 if we do this again.

There is a question though on the car count,,,,,

348Nut`s `55 ~~ Arron`s car deserves a mention other then being listed in "others" !!
