1. I was not able to meet all who attended!! I had a 12 year customer come up to me right before the banquet and introduce himself. I said "Paul...did you just get in town?" He said No, he had been there since Wednesday but everytime that he came over to see me I was too busy!! I wished that I could have talked with more of you.
2. I was not able to see all the cars!! I really wanted to do that but was not able too. That's a bummer :cry :cry
3. Of all the planning I had to do.....I forgot to bring my own cameras along!!! I can't imagine I forgot that!!!
Last Thursday, I was standing out on the west side of the Expo Center waiting for the transporter to arrive with Don Fezell's 3 Z-11's. When it finally came around the corner and I saw it for the first time...I just got goose bumps on my arms....knowing what those 3 cars meant to our history!!! I just couldn't get over that feeling!! Anyway...there were a couple of guys there taking pictures. I mentioned to one that I forgot my own camera. He said he would send me a set of his. I hope he is on the forum and will do that. I would gladly pay for the processing and postage if he would do that!! Tom Jacobson was with me and was given the task of driving the cars off the transporter. He pulled the first one off and into the Expo Center. Then...after he drove the Alan Green car off...I was able to hop in and ride shotgun into the building!!! THEN.....I did the same thing when he drove Grumpy's car in........WOW...I got to ride in Grumpy's Z-11!!! na-na-na-na :rofl
Also, if anyone has digital pictures of the 409 barbeque grille and the 427 grocery cart, please email them to me to save. I would appreciate that.
4. IT WAS OVER WAY TOO SOON!!!!!!!!
Maybe ...next time!!!
