1 Mustard 2 This car is FAST and LOUD! On Wednesday night at Kansas City International Raceways it lifted the front wheels and just kept going higher. There must have been 5' of air under the tires before he had to back off to let it come back down to earth. They had to tune a few hundred horses out of it in order to get it to launch safely.
2 Bluescreamer
3 Denny Ford and Bluescreamer between rounds. Notice the 6.98 on Allens side window. After checking the weather he droped it to 6.97 and that's exactly what he ran! :brow Unfortunately a red light ended things in the next round. :doh We didn't see many red lights because they were using a pro tree. I think you've gotta be awfull quick to red light on a pro tree.
4 Denny Fords wife Deb, :scratch I think, watches him run.

Great pictures. Does anyone know who is the owner of the cool
truck rig. Looks like an old White. The trailer is what I am interested
in. What is it? :)

thanks for the reply. Do you or any other subscribers know who
the rig belongs to. I have an old Chevy tractor that I need a trailer
to haul my cars with and like the looks of that trailer. Probably rare
and difficult to find but never hurts to ask.

The car hauler belongs to Rusty Symmes of Winchester, IN. Has a company called Aluminum Foundry.

Rusty took his red Z-11 bubbletop race car home last Sat and went racing Sunday...........went something like a 9.34 I believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clap
Not bad for an old 409!!!!!

He is a class act!!!!

I had a long talk with Rusty about his truck and trailer and he said he had a ton of money in buying and restoring the trailer and it shows !!!

There also is a great story behind that Ed`s `59 Elki, it only has 16,000 oridginal miles on it and belonged to a good friend of his.

Ed is a fun guy with lots of excellent stories.

Geary
I believe the trailer had an emblem that said Mechanical Handling Systems with Detroit, Michigan below that.
It's a start, good luck in your search...
If you find two, let me know...... :brow

These are the 2 that came out of the hauler. The blue bubble top still had the options sticker in the window and the hubcaps were still in the truck, never put on.

The red one is his FAST one.
