My name is Rob, and I'm not too good with computers, so here goes:
I'm lookin for an oil pan for a 1965 409, as well as a factory intake for the same engine and two sets of valve covers that were like not flat, but kinda curvy, like the hills in kentucky, like up and down, you know.
and hey, if any of you could give me some leads as to where i could buy other factory engine parts for my 409 i would be much obliged.
cheers, rob

Hello Rob, welcome . I don't know you but I like you already. As for the valve covers, ebay for the factory stuff, Moon for after market. Offy also makes aset for that engine. Good luck.

Welcome Rob. Be sure to post a wanted ad in the "wanted" forum for all the parts you need.
The oil pan will have to be a used part. The intake, again used but there were 2 different ones so you would have to specify which. (340hp or a 400hp) Valve covers can be either used or repro. If you have a 400hp, you should have the valve covers with the drippers which will be costly.
Ebay is a good place to find stuff but anything with the numbers "409" in the ad will not go cheap!
Good luck,
Bob

Am willing to part with the oil pan which is unique to the 65 -09 as well as the exhaust manifolds, which are unique to the 65 - 409
