Is anyone old enough to remember when we raced tri power 348s? a trick used was to replace the end carbs with pontiac 2 g.c. s. it required either drilling the manifold or making adapter plates,as they had bigger venturi.when i got a 60 with deuces it had large pontiac 2 g.c.s on it .it had beautifully machined adapters on each end carb which allowed them to operate without binding. i still have one if anyone is interested in either using it to race or to reproduce for other members. it's free thanks,dan by the way my new e-mail is conlandan73@aol.com #479-381-9298

I have a three two setup on top of a .030 409. I would be interested in the performance gain using the larger Poncho 2G carb. I can't see how the lopo heads and the cast iron three two manifold could use more than the 820 cfm that the stock chevy three two setup would provide but my ears are open! :dunno
