409 truck motors

Will the 348..... 3x2 maifold off a car motor work on the 409 truck motor? The truck motor is a 1964 409.... 4 barrel fire truck engine. The 348 is a 1962 belair
motor........also about how much will the 3x2 add to the horse power of the 409??
This 409 truck motor runs so good i hate to screw with it if it's not going to do much for the horse power.

if you have the full 3x2 setup, and you know it worx, toss it on....... it would sure look cooler and run better too. if you dont have all the parts.......don't do it.

I agree with the other guys. I don't think you'll gain much power... But, if you were to put a little bigger cam in while you were at it... Then you'd really have something. :cheers
