Does anyone have any money I can have? I met a man today that has found a 61 bubbletop in a barn in South Carolina. It a 409 , 340 HP 4 speed, no heater of radio and to top it all off, it has a alum. front end . It is now stored not 20 miles away from me. It needs a total resto. I think this makes 12 of the 142 Known to be still out there.

Did I say that it is for sale? The first $40,000 can have it.

I know, I questioned him on the HP and the nose. He said that the front end had to been installed as an aftermarket option. But I can't stand in the man's driveway and call him a liar. I'm going to ask him if I can take some pics of the car and see what he says.

Well anyway, as far as I know aluminum front ends were available in '62 and '63 only. Have you seen it yet?

I have NOT seen the car. I don't believe him either. That's why I want to that the pics. He did say that the nose was put on as an aftermarket item and a J code on the engine. . We will see if he can produce the car.
