Well, here I go again. For some strange reason I can not keep the drive shaft and/or center bearing in place . I replaced the the bracket twice before I discover the twist in the second shaft .
My question is: does anyone have a copy of the pages that cover the drive line in the 64 Chevy shop manual that they can e-mail me?:( :( :( :( :( :cry

I'll just go over what I do and see if you do any thing different. When I take drive shaft apart and install new carrier bearing , I make sure that all of the universals are at 90 degrees along the driveshaft. When I install driveshaft, I raise rear axle up until it carries all the weight of car and tighten carrier bearing. I hope that this may be of some help. :) Roy

Thanks Tripower, thats about what I have done. I think I need to have a auto shaft I have in the shed shortend and balanced. that might do the trick
