It is nice here.
wearing T-shirt and shorts, hanging out in the garage,
Bought my wife a new Bicycle, and getting mine tuned up.
Basicly getting ready for Summer.
Once it gets nice out it slows down here, not too many indoors when the sun is shining and the temp is warm.
We bought a couple of really nice steaks and are going to crank up the BBQ grill tonight.

Went for a cruise in the 61 conv. Got about 3 mi. from home and the fuel pump went out. :cuss Made a call and had a buddy tow me home with tow rope. Then had some neighborhood kids help push it uphill into the garage. All this before noon. Then I drained the 5 year old gas from my wifes new toy, her dreamcar (my nightmare) 67 Mercedes 250 SL Roadster.
Still managed to help plant some flowers. What a fun day. Must nap now.

I've spent part of the day planning my 302 SB build-up and looking for parts/info on the net. That's of course after I completed the wife's indoor painting project this morning! Now if I could only locate a reasonably priced W motor for my next engine project. Oh yeah, I also rebuilt the generator on my 2N tractor too.

In Minnesota, you never know what you are going to get for weather.
Take each day as it comes.
I remember back in 1989 I bought a brand new Kawasaki Ninja 600 in January.
There was about a weeks worth of warm weather in mid february to go riding.
It was jeans and sweatshirt weather.
You just never know.
I saw street rods and muscle cars out all day today. Motorcycles everywhere, and a beautiful 56 Chevrolet Nomad.

Well let me see.........got up at the crack of 930 and then found out it was 1030  :rofl
Went out to the shop and painted and assembled some front end parts for the 62 Vette that has been off the road for a few years.... :cry
Worked on the 61, took the steering column apart 'cause it's gonna be a 4 speed soon.....lost one of the wave washers (or maybe it wasn't there) from under the coupler bearing........ :cuss
My son finished 2nd year college on Friday so we went out to a local pub for steaks & beer..... :beerbang
Now we're back home and I'm trying to figure out whether to go work on something in the shop or just crash with a few more cold ones...... :beerbang :beerbang :beerbang
Decisions, decisions.............
bj :cheers
