fried pertronix

I have a pertronix igniter and a pertronix flame thrower coil. They worked well but spark seemed weak. I am usein the 8.5 wires. So I got a flame thrower 2 coil and hooked it up. Thats where I cooked the Igniter. I didnt read the part where it said Igniter 2 for the Flame thrower 2. It ran for a few minutes then died. So my question is Is it now ruined or can it be saved. I have no spark at all to the plugs. Man I sure can get in these messes. John :doh

time to get a new pertronix...but since you already have the flamethrower2 coil, get the igniter 2.
