Steven, do you think the intake will be done by next week? I would like to get the tranny and intake by next weekend. We can make some kind of arrangement to meet to exchange them. Trying to get this thing all back together before the middle of May.
Thanks

Fred,
The tranny is ready, intake should be over the weekend. How's the rest of the engine coming? Ready to fire the new combination? Look forward to racing another stick-shift car at KY. You still planning on coming down? That would make probably seven or eight there.
Steven
P.S. seven or eight 409 cars, I mean. We have Allen, with Blue Screamer, Ray Lehberger, with his '62 hardtop(beautiful white Bel-Air), Carl and I with the Wully Bully cars, You, and I think two or three from the mid-west area.

It seems like one of the nembers ( I won't mention any names here Fred :scratch ) that will be comming to Norwalk has been making some comments about 60' times and monetary gain from one of the other (Quite innocent , mild mannered and maybe a little naive ! ) members. This ( mild mannered ) member did not (could not in his innocence ) know that the other member was flying in exotic parts from the four corners of the world just to take ( the innocents ) hard earned $10.00. So I say the gloves are off! The 60' challenge still exists  May the man with the best parts win :help Contributions can be sent care of Our leader, Bob to Ray, AKA. Fatride.
PS, a pair of 690 heads and a dual Quad setup would be greatly appreciated.

Fred, I hope you get everything back together in time for Norwalk. Did you get a rearend yet? You'll have your work cut out for you trying to beat that "inocent, mild mannered" members 60' times. I seem to remember he was in the 1.9 second range last year... on street tires!

I think if I can keep him out of a phone booth, I might be able to hold him. But, that mild mannered, innocent guy might get to be a terror if he gets to the phone booth, and changes. :rofl
