I know this is a 409 Forum, but I thought Id share my New C6 Corvette with you. This is a fantastic driving and handeling car. 6.0 liter. 400 hp. Z51 suspension, 4speed auto, 18 & 19 inch GY Super Car runflats. Like driving a slot car thru high speed turns.

I opted to take delivery at the National Corvette Museum, just across the street from the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, KY. They have your new Corvette clean and waiting for you in a special "Corvette Nursery". They give you a special plant and museum tour along with the keys your new Corvette. It was a great car guy experience.

Hope I didnt offend or bore any of you great 09 guys. But I had to share the experience with some real hard core car guys.......Larry

Larry, while I prefer the C2s over all other makes, I have to admit that taking possession of the new car at the factory has to be a thrill. And my guess is that you had to "check a box" and pay a little extra for that priviledge, correct?

If I were purchasing a new C6 that's how I would have done it :). What a thrill that must have been, as shown by your pics!

Good luck with the new treasure :).

Cheers,
TomK
