Here's one I just have to share with everyone. I snapped these yesterday at a "secret" junkyard in my area. ;)

This is the coolest pic! It appears the tree may have actually pushed the hood open and grew through the opening. The hood does not open (or move) as the tree conforms around it as shown in the last pic. Not sure how long this took but definetly a great wall paper for your computer. Any takers on how old this tree is? :D

These and 45 other junkyard pics will be added to the junkyard pic page for the next update. If you have any good ones, be sure to send them my way

Bob, those are quite a set of pictures. I habitat boneyards and owners fields a lot, and have seen some pretty cool growths as well :).

My recent favorite was a tree that grew up into a door, getting real thin and wide as it grew through the inside of the lower door section, then got "normal" and cylindrical after it entered the car. So now there is this six inch stump coming out of the ground, going flat and wide while entering the car, then exiting at about four inches in diameter out of the open window :). I have a pic somewhere, but am a bit disorganized right now (as always!).

Best,
TomK

That one sounds even better Tom. If you ever find it, I'd love to see that.

Bob, sure would be great to see that car "lumbering" down the highway once again. :rofl Great pics.

I'd have to agree. :D Not much chance of that one going down the highway again. (at least under it's own power) It really looks better in the pic than it does in person.

Even though I hate to see a good Chevy go to waste, wouldn't you love to have that in your front yard? What a conversation piece. :D (not sure the neighbors would like it but that is "art" to me) hee hee :rofl
