Bad News And Good News. First, The Bads News: The NHRA Stock-Super Stock
Race Had To Be Cancelled This Week-End. A Division 1 Points Race Had To Be
Rescheduled For Maple Grove, Pa. Aug. 7, Because Of A Cancelled Race Of Which
Was Supposed To Be Run At Numidia, Pa. ESTA Has Not Rescheduled The Event.
The Good News Is That ESTA Is Running A Special Test'N'Tune On Fri. Nite June 5
For Cars With Mufflers. On Sun. Aug. 7, ESTA Is Running A Street Money And Sport
Compact Showdown. I Am Hoping That The Weather Is Going To Be Good Sat. Aug. 6 For The NETO Show At Skyview Drags. I Am Going To Try To Talk The NETO
Racers Into Going Up To ESTA Sunday, To Race, As A Consolation For The Fans,
Because The NHRA Race Was Cancelled!! I Plan On Going To Skyview Saturday!!

Also, I Talked To The ESTA Track Officials About Having MANDRA And NETO Nostalgia Racers At ESTA, And They Seemed To Like The Idea Of Them Racing There!! I Know That MANDRA Has A Big Points Race This Week-End At South
Mountain Dragstrip In Boiling Springs, Pa.; However, It Would Be Great If Some Of Our Website Members, Who Are In MANDRA, And Are Not Going To Race At South
Mountain Sunday, Would Go To Skyview And Race Sat. Nite With The NETO Guys,
And, Make The Trip To ESTA Sunday And Race There, To Give The Fans There A

I Went To Skyview Dragway In Tioga Center, N. Y. This Past Sat. Night And Really Enjoyed The NETO Show!! I Met Both The President And Vice-President Of NETO:
Tony Feil And Dick Head. They Told Me That There Is Only One 409-Powered Car
In The NETO Club: A Front-Engined Dragster, And, It Was Not At Skyview Sat.
Night. They Know Some Of The MANDRA Members Of Whom Are Members Of Our
Website: Allen George, Carl Bucks, And, Steve Moyer. They Gave Me Info On NETO, Of Which I Passed On To The Events Person At ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip
When I Went There Sun. I Hope That ESTA Can Get NETO To Race There Next
Year!! My Next Goal Is To Attend A MANDRA Race This Year (A Very Challenging
Task!!), Get Some Info From Them, Pass It On To ESTA, And, Hope That MANDRA
