Not being interested, I never glanced at the production numbers. But then I don't recall ever seeing one!

yes Tom, i've seen 2 of them in Md. (both black) and back in the 80s. asked here on the forum and was told.....they are real.

Saw one last year with a Dealer installed SS option. Hood was closed, so I don't know the engine option.

Unlike the fake 61 BelAir convertible, yes they did indeed make these. Got a couple of pics on my site and in my collection. One has SS badging, I think.
