Any reasons why this specific block has not been getting any attention?

Who-ever wrote the SHOW CARS: "This is all documented and factual information" is confused. Pontiac did not release their 421 engine until several months after the 409 was released. The statement "NASCAR rules outlawing multiple carburetor set-ups" is true but it happend way back in the spring of 1957. So the Pontiac 421 and NASCAR rules would not have been a factor in Chevrolet's early release of the 409. The Ford 390 may have been a factor. That is... if it is even true that Chevrolet did not originally plan on releasing the 409 until 1962.
An ad with ficticious information probably turns bidders off.
