The time is at hand for all of on the Western side of this GREAT Nation to come together and BURN SOME RUBBER !!!!! :brow
This weekend, August 13-14, is the Hot Rod Nationals at Woodburn Dragstrip in Woodburn, Oregon. A great event of 1970 and older vintage iron (and fiberglass). There is a catergory for everyone to race in. There will be AA/Supercharged Gassers, Pro Nostalgia Dragsters and Top Eliminator Dragsters and Rodsters, too.
You can camp for the weekend for $10.00, coming in Friday and staying to Sunday. The weather is forecasted to be in the mid to low 80's and clear. There are two 409 Impalas, 3 if DQ shows up, running at this event against the Fords and Mopars.
I personaly want to invite all 348-409 owners to this event. It's a great track and a lot of fun. We can all get together and share some good times and make some legends come back to life. :beerbang
