greetings everyone, i'm now back to the computer and at this site, busy summer, the stroker 409, now a 482 is complete. probably need a new name now. the engine has so many goodies and was built right buy a reputable and experienced builder here in mid maine. it dyno'd @ 494 hp and 534 ft. lbs., so hurray!!! for all the time it took, all that work, and, oh yah, all that cash that went into it . been thinking for 40 years about this and i'm not disappointed. hoping to get a car for this engine real soon. i have been very busy looking for one. by the way, right when the engine fired on the dyno, the sight, sound, smell and rumble pulsating against me literally raised the hair on the back of my neck. what a tremendous rush that was. thanks for listening to my raving, i just had to let it be read by folks that understand and appreciate that stuff. if i change my name i'll keep the alias for a while with it. we'll talk soon
