Can this seal be changed with the motor in the car? If so, are there any tricks I need to know?

Jester,if you can remove your oil pan,you can replace your rear main seal.Remove your oil pan,then remove your rear main,loosen your 4 other main caps so you can pry down on your crankshaft,this will make it easier to remove and replace your top seal.Install your seal and re-torque your main caps.Re-install your oil pan with new gaskets.

Thanks Jim . After I wrote the thread I did a search of the site and found the several posts that relate to the replacement of that seal. I should have did this first. What a bone head I am. Thanks again.
