Control arm bushings

After 20 some years of the 63 sitting in the garage I have started blasting and painting primer piece by piece on all the brackets, control arms and other hardware that was attached to the frame, I am curious if the upper and lower control arms were painted before or after the bushings were installed? Hey Ross, I hope that rear quarter will be in place before the new year!

Hey, its only been 3 years!! Plus, that quarter panel has been sitting arround long enough!! Whats a few extra years!! Glad to hear that you're making progress :clap

i has my control arms powder coated, then installed bushings from PST

I recieved the Sears flyer in the mail today. They have a home powder kit for $139.00 . You spray on the powder with the gun in the kit and cook it in your home oven.
I can just see (and hear) my wife now. I thought it was bad when I rebuilt the carbs, on the kitchen table.
