Will the MDS distributor work with tri-power(three 2's)

O.K. seems most of you perfered the MSD unit. Just wanted to be sure
this would work with the 3-2barrel tri-power. :)

Yes the MSD 348/409 distibuter will fit the three two manifold and carb setup.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but from what I've heard, MSD unit is taller than stock dist. , hance if you're going to spend the extra "$$$" :bow for tripower air cleaner it probably will not fit.
Double check on this first before you get the MSD unit. Personally I think have IgnitionMan redo your distributor probably is the better solution, it will look stock :deal for sure. I don't know just my opinoin :)

You aren't wrong.

I do two distinctly different conversions,

HEI with remote module for stock cast iron W dists, MSD trigger for same, uses a stock W dist, so, not higher than stock

Next, small/big block aluminum dist with attached adapters for fit to W engines, HEI with module mounted on dist body, or MSD trigger only. This dist is about 1-1/8th inches higher overall than a W dist is.

Can do same for Mallory, real, live HEI or MSD trigger only.
