I would like to know if anyone has purchased a telescoping drive shaft
from Inland. I would like to know the shaft length measurements for a Borg Warner 4 speed and stock rearend. My car is a 59 2door Impala. I am trying to get a jump on my frame off restoration and get the drive shaft made before
I get the engine and transmission back in the frame. I called Inland but
they insisted I get the actual measurements, but this is a stock type
application and expected them to have those measurements. Has someone
already done this if so your help would be appreciated.

thanks

Why did you go with the 1310 shaft instead of 1350?

I don't have U joint center to center measurements. But here is overall length measurements taken from the parts book. Hope this helps.
Front propeller shaft 59-64 Pass w/4spd 24 5/8 (O.L.)
Rear propeller shaft 58-64 36 1/2 (O.L.)

Maybe someone else has a driveshaft out and can measure center to center.

I just had my drive shaft worked on, The rear section is 36 inches center to center. The front section I had made to the 4 speed spec of 24 5/8 center to center. It's in the car and is working fine.
