64 impala repo hood hinges

what do you guys think about the repo 64 hood hinges . will they line up just like the originals . has anyone used them and if so what did you think about them.

I have not used the new reproduction hood hinges.
But as words of caution, most of this stuff is made in China.
I do not know where the hinges are being made, but I would think it would not be that hard to find a decent set of original hinges and have them restored.
I have my doubts as to how well the reproductions would fit and function.

I am not too familiar with the repo hood hinges, GM does have new hood hinges available for 1965 and newer, if 64 shares the same hinges with 65 the part numbers are 3910667-68 and are available thru any GM dealer. There are a few things available from GM. I have been buying from an online source that I can give you the address that appear to be genuine. Hood hinges are about $60. ea. They nick ya a little on the shipping though. Some people are buying these parts and selling them on ebay and doing well.
