Hello from a certified car nut. I live in Woodinville in Washington State, and I enjoy all sorts of American Cars. I am currently building a Nailhead powered Model A hot rod, but I also have a '58 Impala Sport Coupe as a "driver"

As the hot rod is nearing completion, I am collecting parts for the Impala. The 283 PG combo runs good, but will need some work soon, so I just assume get a 348 4 speed set up ready when the day comes.

I have a 1958 engine, a tri-power manifold, bellhousing and a T-10 trans, but I have many questions. I will post them in the forum.

Look forward to learning a few things.

Rolf

I wish my good car looked as good as your DRIVER.
It is beautiful. I'm saving the picture.

Hay Rolf, I took the liberty of copiing the picture of your car. I sent it to my sister. She and her husband had the same exact car back in 1960. They purchased it for $1500.00. She wants to know if you will part with it for the same amount.
I told her " Fat chance" Nice ride. :rofl :rofl

By the way, He rapped it around a pole two years later. The car was totaled.

Thanks fellas, for warm welcome.

The '58 looks better on pictures than up close, it has original paint on it, and it's tired. I polished it up the best I could, and from 20 yards it looks great.

After I install the 348 etc, I will do some paint work on it, to make sure it stays protected for a long time.

Thanks again, I will post some questions in the 348 forums.
