I found this site through a Google search, and I'm very glad to know that there are other 409 nuts out there like me! I have a 1934 Ford cabriolet fiberglass car into which I have put a 409 with high performance heads and dual quads, backed by a Richmond 5 speed and a Currie 9-plus. I am currently wiring it and doing body work. The color will be 2001 Mercedes Benz Firemist red over a light grey leather interior. I bet a 425 HP car that only weighs about 2900 lbs will be a real handfull! I've been working on it for about three years now, and hope to have it done next year.

Gentlemen,
As requested, a (rather rough) picture of my '34. It is already morefinished than this picture shows, as I have mounted the doors and trunk lid since, and I am now putting in the radiator and serpentine belt system from Street and Performance in Arkansas.
