I have used these in low-budget dirt track motors and even though they are made in Taiwan , they have performed well. Brand new distributor for $75 , dont know how they do it, but they do. I e-mailed the company and told them to check application. Think they have made a mistake when they claim it fits 409.

Can you believe I have already recieved reply? The guy said he will check with his supplier tomorrow and confirm application of 409 and then get back to me. Cant explain how he could answer a question in less than 5 min. Man!!, that is some kind of service.

Looks like it could be an adjustable distributor. Sliding collar and replacable oil sleeve. That way it could fit everything.

For a few dollars more, you can send your distributor to Dave, "Ignitionman", and it will come back better then new !!

One thing you can count on with Dave is you will get a completely rebuilt unit, curved to you application and quality ignition parts inside!!:deal

Why not buy this distributor and send it off to be custome calibrated. Cheaper than a used 348/409 unit.
