Check out item #4585987043

Did Edelbrock an intake manifold for a 348/409 other than a 6X2?
The shape of the rear of the manifold does not look like it would fit a 348/409??

If I knew it was correct for small port 409 heads, I may bid on it. Any thoughts as to whether or not it is correct for my application?

As far as I know the only aftermarket 2x4 manifolds for W-engines were/are made by Offenhauser and they are for the low power heads 348 and 409-340 hp. These are still available new from any vendor that sells Offenhauser stuff. Usually it will be a special order.

I sent a note to them about this manifold, Reply was that it actually is a SBC manifold. Asked me how to change the listing. Told them to write a note to ebay saying listed in error similar to the 409 distributor.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll put my money towards an Offenhauser, unless someone has a small port aluminum 1X4 intake for sale - say a 3767579 or 3797776?

There was recently a couple aluminum 348, 1x4 intakes. One really nice one went for about $750 and the other one, which had a crack went for about $450!!

I was bidding on one last december which was really nice and I took it to the wire but it went for about $620 and I lost it.

I was actually bidding on the one that ended up selling a couple weeks ago for $760, but dropped out of the bidding war when it got over 7 bills. To rich for me, especially when it was not the exact casting # I was looking for. I know if I find the correct one, it won't be any cheaper either.

Yes, they also made a 4x2 intake.
