Rear Seat Speaker Grill

On a 63 Supersport, does the rear seat mounted speaker grill carry the Supersport or just the plain Impala emblem?

I have a 1963 SS and the emblem for the grill is the regular Impala one. I hope this helps you.

Thanks, that's what I figured. But since the emblems are so similar (if not exactly the same ones) as used in the horn hub, I began to wonder. Got the blue seatback from the donor 64 all recovered in red and the speaker box painted waiting on the speaker from Canada, then I can install it. Will be stripping the lower seat section and recovering it today.

I look at my old frames, all burnt and crusty and can't help think about how I've already done this once before the fire, but then I count my blessings and think how lucky I was that nothing worse was lost.
