Drive shaft length

I found that my new drive line front section is to long:mad: and from what I have found it should be 24*5/8 inches for a M21 4 Speed. Is this correct and is it center to center or outside to outside? The rear half is about 36" + as well.

was hoping to back it out tonight:cry but if I get the length I can cut it and re-weld it tommorow. No biggie just a pain.

And I either need Jenny Craig or a floor hoist cause this thing sure seems lower than when I was in HS!!

Yes that is the correct length for a 4 speed set up. It also works for a turbo 350 set up. It is center to center dimension.

Do any come stock 24 5/8?? For a m21?
