I have a 61 block also that I have been thinking about selling. I will be watching to see what kind of action he gets. I have no idea what kind of reserve to put on it. I was hoping to find a 61 to put it in, but I'm about ready to give up.

Thanks for posting this information. I also will be eagerly waiting to see what it sells for. I wonder what the details of the motor are, he lists the block casting number and it's correct, the heads and intake for those motors are also 61 only items, wonder if they are correct and the casting dates of all these items in line. That would make a BIG difference in what the motor is worth.
Now, if somebody would just list a documented 61SS on Ebay, maybe I could figure out what my mess is worth!!!
