Was anybody watching this item? Yesterday (11/23/05) it was at 11 bids and was over $6,000.... with 9 days to go. I was curious how this would end, but I can't find it listed anymore. :dunno

Accounts get hacked regularly, with payment info changed. Someone got in to mine and listed a laptop a couple weeks ago. The 'bay got it off there before I saw it listed, but I saw they asked payment be sent to a PO Box in Chicago. Gotta watch for the scams....I sent him a "will it be relisted" email, but it looks like he's only sold Chevelle stuff to date.

I had a look at the other items the "seller" had available, as well...yesterday. They're gone too! Typed in ID# and seller's ID name under advanced search ...Nothing there anymore.

I wasn't bidding on the item though.....$$$. I've got some of the parts for one, just need, say.....ohhh...another 200± parts to assemble a complete engine.:bang

Anyways, next year, I hope to find a good 62-65 409 block... or short block for sale. Looks like I'll have to save more than my pennies and dimes though. Yeah.... like no one has ever heard that one before eh? :rolleyes:

Guess you all saw the other 1962 409 QB listed today..lots of action already. :eek:

In the left column, "Find Items", "Items by seller". Type in 1bad70sschevelle and it brings up his account. Then on the right is "view sellers items" and it brings up 11 still for sale.

I can't make it work either with the advanced search.
