I just fit up the front bumper to the '62SS, and had a bit of trouble getting it to gap the same on both the left and right side. It's been so long I can't remember how it fit up when I removed it :(.

Is there some way to move this bumper about half an inch to the passenger side? That would even up the gaps and make it look correct. I did note that the bolt holes that connect the plated pieces to the long support bar are holes, not slots. Should I just waller those out a bit???

I welcome any suggestions from anyone who has experience in doing this "fitting". I'm still trying to get the pieces to fit as good as possible, it really takes a lot of time. But it is coming together at last :) :) :).

Some pics are attached, taken tonight.

Enjoy!

Looking good Tom!:beerbang

When they straightened and re-chromed my bumpers they didn't have enough bend in one of the end sections. It stuck out too much on one side and made the bumper look too wide. I think I used a big rubber hammer to bend it into the proper shape. It looked great after that. I don't know if you've got the same problem but that's what worked for me.:dunno
