59 Impala dash

I think that the 59 Impala had the most sexest metal dash ever built!!
I would like to install one in my 56 Chevy pick-up...
Has anyone tried this before??

I saw one done with a 55 Chevy dash board on some truck site I've been to. (can't remember where)

The 59/60 dash is way cooler, I'm with you there. :brow

I have seen a guy put the 59 dash in a custom car here in sweden, I don´t remember what car make.:brow

I copied this picture from another forum a few years ago. I don't know what the finished project looks like, but it's a cool idea. For those not into rods, the car is a 28 or 29 model A ford.

Guy around here has a 50 chevy pickup with 59 dash and a 65 lo-po 409. Rat rod type, Satin black outside, gloss black and orange under the hood. Red leather interior. Whole package looks very good.

I always thought it would be cool to use the small paired guage pods (ones on either side of the speedo) and add them to the passenger side of the dash to be used for more guages,,,:brow ,,dq
