Sometimes you have to look back at some of the trends and custom things people have done to cars that just make you think WTF??
and all you can ask is why??
there are some seriously bad trends going on right now with big wings and spoilers on import cars.
But to look back at some of the trends and styles of the 50's and 60's just make you laugh now becuase maybe you did these things back then, but know better now.

I like the steering wheel (although I would never put one in any of my cars) but that shifter is butt ugly. :rofl

Other than the shifter and steering wheel which could be easily changed I think it is a neat little truck. As far as the era I think that the wheel and shifter are recent.

I would love to do up a 70's style Chevy van. Maybe a '73 or so. That would be the perfect place for a chain link steering wheel!

Jack it up, shove some M-50's under the rear, Cragar SS's and side pipes. I guess some shag carpeting too. :D

Don't know why he calls that shifter Old School. That is current Wisconsin customizing trick, what with all the beer they consume up there. I am suprized it is not green and yellow.
