Tweak the design by going a little more retro on the grill and tail light treatment...build it...and all Chevy guys should support it.They can improve it even more over the model years. This will kick the snout out of a Mustang...we need to support GM fellas. I want a Chevy available when my son gets his license.

Although the Mustang and Challenger are better looking (so far...) at least they are finally getting something out there with RWD.

I say" build it" . Not that I like it or that I would buy it, but maybe it will show GM what they need to do before they are purchased by Toyota.

Build it...but if GM doesn't price it to compete head to head with the Mustang it will be just another low production elitist money loser. A 5.3L V8 5-speed version priced around $27,000.00 is a winner, if the base car comes in over $30K, it will disappear again in a few years. They also need to be in the showrooms next year.

It may not be exactly what everyone would hope for, but at least Chevy is finally moving in a better direction...If you look at their current line up there is nothing at all appealing to me...They went back to rwd on the monte but continue to ruin the body style...personally I don't even care much for the design direction of the Vette.
Nothing from GM is personally appealling, but at least they have my attention with their attempt at the Camaro. Perfect...NO...but in my opinion better than what they currently offer !

Well, I'd form an opinion and post a response for the poll, but that nightmare is just too ugly to look at.

With a perfect blueprint of the best seller car of all time to draw from, the 1969 Camaro, Bob Klutz and company have made the GM "styling" crew a laughing stock yet again.

Id love to have one, it looks tough to me compared to some of the cars out there these days. Would look real cool out there on a Nascar track . :)

Eric Peters wrote a very good column on the new Comaro. He said that price is everything along with retro style. Chrysler has it right with the Challenger. Chevy needs to go to a museum get a 67 or 69 Camaro and put it in their design department, then tell them to make a modern car that looks like this. A simple car that has rear wheel drive,5 speed or overdrive automatic. Base price of $16,000, and offer all the options like Corvette engine,Bose sound and great wheels. Will they do it? I doubt it, GM has not allowed anyone with vision in their management for many years only bean counters.:takethat Roy

Eric Peters is a national auto newspaper columnist. I don't think there are to many cars out there today that someone is going to keep and say that's a classic. A Honda Civic or a Scoin? :rofl :rofl :rofl Roy
