If that bidder put in a $6,000 bid and you bid against him in small increments his bid would increase as shown until you bid higher than his top bid. Does that make sense? I think that's how it works.

I think your right models. It would show every attempt to out bid the highest bidder.

That's ALOT of cash for an air cleaner! If someone told you of this sort of thing 20 years ago, would you have believed them? :D

I think those show that the high bidder kept bidding until the reserve was met. That's basically why you set a secret reserve, to make one guy bid against himself.
