Ray, That blower intake would look good on your car. Ya better buy it while it is still available. Have you noticed that 690s were selling for $2,000 for cores the last few months? Last week a set sold for $3,450. Today a set sold for $4.050. What is next? $5,000?

Ronnie, Take a closer look at the manifold, It fits the small heads. Yeah, it'd look great. As the two of us slept next to one another in the garage, which wouldn't be all that bad if there was heat in the garage.

Ray, I noticed they were for the little heads. Little heads are all I can afford. If you were to sell one set of the 690s you have stashed away, then you could buy the blower intake and a polished blower to match. AND we could afford a room!

Whats a 690, I just started to get going on my truck engine and discovered one of the 379 heads might have a problem and sent it out to be pressure checked. Besides my wife said no more cars with hood scoops which is why I been looking for a Latham blower with the side carbs. Or maybe I should see if they'd trade the "prehistoric Rat" they have for sale along with the manifold for my 58. But then not only would I no longer have garage I wouldn't have a house either.

Ronnie,if these 690's go much higher,I'll sell mine and buy some Aluminim heads when they come out.I would also like a Blower sticking out of the hood of the 57:D

I agree , Jim, I would have thought the rumor of aluminum heads would have at least held 690s to a steady level. I have always been wrong when it comes to guessing future prices. Sold my last set of 690s 6 months ago for $1,800 and was very pleased. Call me Mr. Stupid-------I deserve it. :doh :doh

You gotta remember that the rare and hard to to find parts will always go up in price especially as the interest in these cars and engines increase.
Even as more and more aftermarket parts become available the number guys will always pay for what they need and want.,,
But not a bad idea to sell my 690`s and bet a set Rich`s new heads !!!!
Pretty soon it could be a straight swap !!:deal
