Do you know what HP rating these are for? Date is 1/5/58.thanks

These heads were used on 19581/2 to 1961 348 passenger cars. HP rating is 250, 280, 315. By the date on your heads I would say that they would have been used with one four barrel carb and produced the 280 rating or with three two barral carbs that would have increased the HP rating to 280 hp.

I thought the 379 heads were replaced by the 738 and 147 heads in 60 and early 61. No big deal anyway because they were used in alot of engine combo's. Say...... any thoughts where to find a 2X4 manifold for those heads with linkage and working carbs. not a performance project jus for grins so to speak

Offenhauser intake still available new from Summit and Edelbrock 500 or 600 carbs from the same place. When I see this stuff used on Ebay it sells for more than the new.

Thanks I didn't have much confidennce in E-Bay for pricing of common stuff like this( not the good alum 409 items) I had thought about Carlisle or the Charlotte Auto Fair also.
