Congratualations Denny!!!!! What a great time you will have. Wished I could join you, but will have to watch on TV. If you see a TV camera on you be sure and wave and I will wave back. Have a safe trip and give us a report when you get home. :cheers

Bo, did you get an invite to go to Daytona with Denny? Neither did I. What a friend!!!!!!!!! Next time, you and I will go and not invite him. Might invite Deb, though. I'm sure it wasn't her idea to leave us out. :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Your going to miss the two hour drive there and the four hour drive back. The people in front standing so you have to.The drunk behind you spilling his beer on you and listening to him tell his friend every thing he knows. How about the line up
at the bathroom???
I was at the Indy 500 fifteen years ago thats how it was.
I'll watch it on TV too.

Talked to Denny last night, and he doesn't seem to mind any of that, so far. In fact, he seemed pretty pumped up about the whole thing. I don't think you will convince him that watching on TV will be better, at least not at this point.
Have been to Indy several times, and will agree it is better on TV. Can't see the whole track. And, the wife at that time, did get beer dumped on her. She wasn't happy. And when she wasn't happy---------------- Well, we all know. WEnt to the first Brickyard 400, and that was nice. Different crowd. Much more mannerly. Would do that again if I could get the same tickets. Top row of the tower terrace, on the inside of the track. You could see a lot of the track. The most You can see.

Saw the race today. boring to say the least,,,
gotta do something about this. it just seems to be a follow the leader type race now a days until a wreck. That seems to be the only way the cars get shuffled.
No really good passing or pushing for the front.
Speeking of pushing and bumping ,, that was the best part of the race !!:D
going to an event like this would be fun because of all the stuff thats going on besides the race.
I have several friends that have been to the 500 and most agree that the small tracks and races are more fun to attend but were glad that they went.
Me? I`m not much of a Nascrap fan other then watching a few races a year
