starter wiring

I asked elsewhere before I realized you guys have probably done it a zillion times....how do I wire a 2 wire mini starter to a 3 wire/ballast resistor harness on my 64 ? There is no R terminal on these starters...

Bob, put the resister wire on the starter/ ign. post at the starter and put a one way diode in the resister wire.
