690 and 583 Head Prices!

WTF?

A pair of 583 heads sell on eBay for over $4,300 the other day and nice 583 head sells last nite for less than $1,000 with only one bidder. Makes one wonder if these guys bidding up HP head prices are really buying them. Perhaps they are gaming the market for some reason.

With Edelbrock coming out with an aluminum head and Show Cars talking about casting iron heads, maybe someone is trying to cash in before the market is flooded with good aftermarket heads...

The picture of that head looks like it has two intake seats that are junk.I think the guy got more than it was worth.
Good parts will still bring a lot of money,but junk is starting to also.
