55 coming together

We started putting the 55 back together today. We'll have to lift the body off to do the chassis when the new rearend and 4 link comes but at least for now it's starting to look like a car again.

We made some plexiglass side windows and installed the back window today. We tried to install the front window but it didn't fit. I think it was from a 57, or maybe a hardtop.:dunno It's slightly wider and a bit shorter. Of course we didn't figure that out until we had applied all the window sealing goop. It was a real mess to clean it up.:cuss Winston thinks the smoked windows look pretty good.:beerbang

Jim, she looks really good and I am glad Winston approves. Been wondering why ol' Winston was not in the other pics. Thought maybe he had been banned from the garage lately :dunno
