I have good used, one each, full-sets of 348 and 409 pistons (hi-perf) and rods, with cranks. I also have several 409 hi-perf 2x4 intakes (mint), and a couple Offy 4x2 348/409 intakes (one is brand new), and one Offy 6x2. Also have a pair of good used 333 heads.

Also have an original pair of '64-65' 409/hi-perf chrome valve covers, with drippers...they are a bit surface rusty, no holes, and easily rechromable. I have other 348-409 stuff too.. exhaust manifolds.. ask for other parts and/or casting numbers you need.

I'm giving the 348-409 guys here a first shot at this stuff, before putting in all on ebay.
Fair offers please, I'm not giving the stuff away!

Post a reply or call me at 727-452-1418 (evenings only Eastern Time)

Is the 409 crank still at stock diameter?

I believe the crank is 10/10 (I'll check the stamping, if you're truly interested)...

I got it from a once-upon a time machinist, who rebuilt cranks, and this was his own -- still in the box (I bought the entire engine, dissasembled, as it was stored in oiled bags for 30 years). It would need only to be polished. My only use for it was as a pattern for modifying the 427 crank in my '55' stroker...

I'm in the process of doing a 454-cranked stroker, and after I'm finished, I'll sell the 409 crank to the best offer. Make an offer? :cheers

Talked to a swap vendor this weekend that had an Offenhauser 2x4 low rise. He wanted $500 for the lowrise and $275 for the highrise. Says you can't get the lowrise anymore. If that's what you have, Ebay is the place.
