I have rescently picked up a 61 Invicta hardtop. It's a nice car with 80% of the work done, stock power everything, power windows etc. Body is in raw metal and quite nice. I would like to know how much does this car share with the chevy line. I know the drivetrain is different but is the rest interchangeable? Also I am looking for a cruise control for this car. I know chevy offered one but can't seem to find out if buick did or not.

Another thing I am looking at are the air ride systems, any suggestions or ideas. And yes I am putting big rims n meats, again any suggestions on size, backspacing? I believe I would like to use 20 in the rear and 18 in the front but have no idea on what to use for tire sizes and backspacings:) Let the suggestions fly!:):brow :deal

CAn you give me the weight of the car and the original tire size? I can check and see what the plus size would be for the tires. Have to be concerned about the carrying capacity of the tires in regard to the GVW. I have use Air Ride Technologies for my 64 BelAir and they have been very helpful. They have done some Buicks so I would look them up on line if you can to get some ideas. Walt
