Are Distributor mounting gaskets the same

Is the distributor mounting gasket the same same for a 409 as it is for a 283 or 327. My local NAPA store shows no listings for the 409 gasket only the 327.

I think they are but if not, just get some blank gasket material and make your own. :brow :)

nope 348/409 are bigger in diameter both inside and out side, never have used them myself and never had a leak there, probably should though.

Nope, they ARE different, as is the distributor hold-down. Both are easy to fabricate though.
